How to Prepare & Aftercare
Hair needs to be roughly 3 to 5mm long for the sugar paste to grip properly. That generally means not shaving for 2 to 3 weeks before your appointment. Shower beforehand and skip lotions or oils on the area that day.
- Avoid hot water, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours after your appointment.
- Skip the pool for the same 24-48 hour window.
- Wear loose, breathable clothing for the first day or two.
- Start light exfoliation after 2 to 3 days to help prevent ingrown hairs.
